I bought this couple years back… great when working on cars, snowblowers and lawn mowers.

Even in the item description they're embarrassed to say 37% of the 270 items are screwdriver bits and hex wrenches:
and 101 other tools

When did you receive yours? I had the confirmation from November 3, but nothing more.

You wouldnt be able to get the 51 anymore unless you ordered back in Nov when they had this pricing error for an out of stock pre order.

Never get why people buy these type of deals...just because they are deals, without any intention of using them or even just having as backups/spare/lend-a-tool sets or whatever. I mean let's face it no real mechanic is going to use this "mechanic's" tool set most likely but it's a great deal for someone that doesn't have tools and wants them to get into/start using them.

Also being a "mechanic's" set I'm not sure why they put in imperial stuff in there, as it's not that useful for anything automotive in the past 40 years or more--should have just put more metric stuff in there.

Anyway it's a good deal for someone that doesn't have much in the way of tools already. I have way too many tools as it is and will only buy impact stuff these days in terms of sockets and stuff, if I'm making any purchases so I'll leave it to those that will buy these for actual use, and hopefully others will too.

Rfd effect, our way of retail therapy. Id say 50/50 on stuff we buy here are needs based and the rest is just for the thrill of the deal. Hey we gotta be doing somethin right?

What i am against is people buying the deals in bulk for reselling, now thats an @$$ move.
