[Home Depot] Husky 6 Gal Air Compressor With Nail Gun $107.00

Found this in Vancouver Terminal, not sure how capable of a compressor this is, but it's cheap enough for my minimal/occasional usages.
Saw a handful (maybe 6?) on the shelf at the front of the store on Sunday.
Online shows full price.

Is it possible to use this compressor for painting as well?

Too small IMO. Painting is more about the steady volume, rather than the PSI.

Amazing Compressor, Picked up the same a month ago for $113. Only bad thing Is that the gaskets in the gun go bad quickly. Its already leaking air fast when connected.

Doubt it. Too small. If it helps, I did mine with a good quality 15 or 20 gallon and you're still waiting for it to refill between branches, if it wasn't close to full it didn't have a lot of oomph.

Can I add a air tank like this one:
18.9 L air tank
So, I will have a portable compressor for other jobs.

I use a 6 gallon for my six zone sprinkler system. At only 40 psi it can do each zone no problem. Sure it runs while I am using it but does not run out of air for any zone.

Good deal. If I didn't recently pick up a 2nd hand 1hp/2 gal ultra quiet recently I'd pick this up. With the compressor, new hose and last gen Husky 18ga nailer I'm already $130 deep.

Hmm fair enough, I was inferring from mine working merely alright.

With cordless tools these days I cannot figure what I could use a compressor for... any suggestions?

I was in the same dilemma. Depending on which ecosystem (green, orange, red or yellow), a cordless nailer will set you back between ~$200-400. You also have to ask yourself how often you'll be using it and if you can justify the cost of it.

For me I'm with Milwaukee so the gen 2 nailer would be $400. I couldn't justify the cost for the amount I'd be using it so I opted the compressor route. A used compressor and nailer plus new hose only set me back $130. With the compressor, I now can use the nailer, blow stuff out and inflate balls, and tires especially after swapping my seasonal tires considering all gas stations in my area charge for air now except for Super Save.

Did the product itself scan in at $90? I'm assuming it's not the yellow sticker right?
