[Home Depot] M12 FUEL Brushless Cordless Stubby 1/2-Inch Impact Wrench (Tool-Only) $149 (in-store)

Saw around 10 of them at homedepot in pickering... Online shows the 3/8 stubby version you get a 3ah battery, i didn't see any instore stock. Don't get confused with the non-stubby version as those only have about 115ft/lbs torque... these stubbies get 250ft/lbs. I already have the 1/2 rigid impact wrench and a 1/2 ryobi impact wrench... so i passed on this. I would get it in a heartbeat if i didn't already have a couple of impacts.

I just saw these in the Barrie store, they had maybe 15 in stock. I didn't know it came with a 3ah battery. I'll probably pick one up if it does come with a battery as I have to many m12 tools but not enough batteries

Do these require the M12 Fuel batteries? Or will they work just as powerfully with a regular M12 battery?
Thanks1

I don't think M12 Fuel battery is a thing; there is an XC high capacity though. All M12 tools work with any M12 battery, but you probably want to use at least a 4Ah battery for something like an impact wrench.

They will work with any of the m12 batteries. 1.5, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 & 6.0. Of course. YMMV on how strong they will he for the 3.0 and lower. Depending on what u will be using them on at the time.

Ok, wasn't sure. I have 2 and 3 Ah batteries and I don't need long run time.

If someone can provide a photo or receipt we may have a better chance of price matching it.

Is it the same model as in the recent 2-battery glitch?

This impact wrench was not part of that promo. You're thinking of the Fuel impact driver kit.

Hopefully you don't run out of juice before you're done! I used a 2ah for the air compressor to pump 4 tires and it was almost empty by the end. I would imagine an impact wrench would be pretty power hungry.
