So homedepot has a deal on right now where you buy a 5.0 Battery / Charger combo you get a free bare tool of your choice (from these options https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home/catego ... ffer.htmll)

I know this deal has been posted before for an in store deal where you return the battery pack to get the tool for 66$, but in my opinion this is better as your getting the tool for 60$ and the battery/charger for 60$ as well. I mean who doesn’t need extra batteries!

While scrolling on Amazon I noticed that they have the same 5.0 battery / charger combo for 119.99$ (you have to select it under the “other sellers on Amazon” tab.)

Obviously this price match is only valid while the Amazon price stays at 119.99$.

I did my price match online with homedepot without any issue.

Total out the door with HST is 135.59$ For the 5.0 battery / charger and the Free tool, And free shipping to my house.

I didn't have luck with this, the agent said they won't price match because it's not being sold by Amazon.

Apologize for anyone’s time I wasted.

I literally had zero issues. I requested price match through the chat. Took 5 mins to confirm. She came back and said yes no problem. Placed order, she overrode the price. I have the invoice in my inbox for 119.99$ Including the free tool.

I’ll expire the thread as there’s no point keeping it live if people are having no luck!

try adding an item to cart, and then go to cart, it'll show up. let the page simmer for a while when you go to the cart :-)

well, I'm getting closer I think.
In my cart I now see this image but nothing is clickable
did you mean I have to let the page simmer for a while (ie: don't do anything in the cart for a while)

Well my order was delivered this morning! Less then 24 hours to my front door. I’m blown away!

Glad to see that more people had luck with the price match! Of course after I expire the thread people start saying they have luck with it!

Sucks it took some people multiple attempts! But worth it in my opinion.

Price is still 119.99 on Amazon for those wanting to try price matching still!
