I stopped asking for a price match few years back since cashiers and managers became hard to deal with. I stopped going to hd period.
It wasn’t a price match per-se; it was just honouring their advertised price. I just tell them it’s tagged at a different price and then reference the scanning code of practice. Take a pic of the label and show the cashier. They can’t deny you if that’s their tagged price.

Went to the Scarborough Home Depot on Ellesmere and the screwdrivers were at full price.

How do these compare with Klein Tools' screwdrivers? If they're even close, I could buy these as a spare set - if I can get this price here in Ottawa.

These aren’t anything special. I have a set, it’s comparable or worse than my husky set. Pretty disappointed in them. 20$ should be reg price IMO.

Milwaukee makes some great power tools and ppl believe anything from them is also great. No idea about these screwdrivers, but their Shockwave bits didn't fare very well in 1-to-1 review:

im not imprssed with milwaukee scredrivers or vice grips. The "chrome" flakes off on the first use. Their power tools are good though.

Don’t get me started on the shockwave bits. Absolute trash. I used mine once and most have lost their edge. I’m not an amateur either, I know how to drive screws. For bits, if anyone cares, I’ve had great success with Bosch and Dewalt.
