honestly my m12 tools have become my go to tools this year instead of my larger 36v metabo hpt ones, even my father who was never a fan of 12v tools as they never had enough power for him has gone out and bought some after using mine and they are the ones he reaches for first for a lot of projects now

Sweet, thanks OP!
Basil: Well, may I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? The Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically -?

Same here. I went to the store yesterday for this battery. The web shown there was 27 in stock at my location, but the staffs couldn't find it.
I talked to online agent about it yesterday night. He said it was an error on the poster, the promotion of this M12 battery starts today.
For $29 with free shipping, it can't go wrong. Face With Tears Of JoyFace With Tears Of JoyFace With Tears Of Joy

Wait a few more days as HD typically puts a M12 kit on sale for Christmas and as a bonus sometimes they bundle that kit with a free battery offer. I don't know if that's going to happen this year but they have done it for the past 5 or more years in a row so the ods are good that it will probably happen again.

I have a couple of Bosch 12v tools, a little hammer drill and reciprocating saw. These are awesome but the kits and batteries to expand the set rarely go on sale and are hard to find. I’m wondering how the Milwaukee 12v compare.

Also the batteries look identical to my Bosch 12v ones. I wonder it they are actually the same?

JIM39C wrote: Question for the Milwaukee experts. I recently bought the 3/8" stubby impact and got the 3.0 battery free. My first Milwaukee tool.

I read here on rfd that I can return that free battery, retails for $89. Should I do that and get two of these or stick with the 3.0? There is also the larger 4.0 batteries, two for $99 I think. What to do?

I still need a charger too, was thinking kijiji. Seen a bunch on there from $15-$30. Let me know, Thanks
Yes you can return the CP 3.0 battery, but you're not getting $89 for it, closer to $60. The two pack of XC 3.0 batteries are on for $99 which is not a bad deal. The XC batteries would be better for the stubby impact than the CP. Also, you're on the right track for the charger, I regularly sell them for $20-$25 on FB marketplace.

If you don’t own too many tools, maybe you can wait for the Christmas period to see any other good deals from Milwaukee with a charger included.

I have Ryobi everything for tools except for my impact driver which is the Milwaukee M12. I bought into Milwaukee M12 line simply because of that tool. It being rather compact has made me be able to work in some tight spots and it's pretty damn strong. Also, I realized that since the battery sits inside the handle that I can holster it in my tool belt. The ring on your tool belt for hammers will hold the drill just fine. That was an unexpected and very convenient find!

I bought the M12 XC 4.0 for $79 at the HD on Elgin Mills. Everywhere shows $109 but it is marked and scanned at $79. Ended up returning the CP 3.0 that I got with the 3/8 stubby for $61.50. So for about $27 I got a better battery.

I have a LOT of Milwaukee tools. Originally started out with all M18, but found that the M12 tools are so much more compact, easier to use and have plenty of power for most jobs. I'd recommend the M12 line to most homeowners.

Just noticed that you don’t have to order over $49 for free shipping. You can order one battery and have it shipped to your home for free!

I'd like to get into the M12 sphere, but can one person have too many tools?
M12 tools are one of the best, you will not regret it
