I just opened the box and was shipped the tool plus bubble wrap. No battery or charger....on the invoice it clearly states both on the same shipping order number in 1 parcel.

Anyone had this experience? What kind of pain am I looking at to get this corrected?

Thanks, I ordered one last night, got confirmation from PayPal but no email from HD, normally it's instant, did you have any luck? Still haven't heard back from customer support but I'm sure they're overwhelmed at the moment.

The battery and charger were free, so they didn't charge you for it. Basically you didn't loose anything, but gained some free buble wrap. Win, win. Don't even tell them about buble wrap!

Could it be coming in a different delivery? I'd get a hold of a CSR.

Model S and X use the same form factor, but different chemistry. Lots of products use 18650 such as laptop batteries and backup batteries to modems.

You can buy compact "tactical" flashlights that use these too. Very bright.

Just got the 3/8 KIT on clearance for $134.99 in Richmond BC. Lots available.

Includes the ratchet 2 batteries and a charger. A better deal, no?

I just noticed I actually got the non-stubby version. From my research, it is still a great tool. But not as hot as I would like it. Let me dig up the receipt later then I will edit this post

Looks exactly like this kit. Stocktrack still shows $259 at all locations but this is $134 in Richmond
