I price matched this at the Home Depot today.

I'm going to return the 2 2.0 batteries I got from this promo. I should get around $68 for the returns.
So basically trading the 2 2.0 for 1 4.0

2 4.0ah
4 3.0ah
3 2.0ah

I've got plenty of power :)
What did you buy?

I'm at 3 2.0 (2 from kit a few years ago plus one extra)
1 4.0 just purchased

Drill
Impact
Sawzall
Light
Vacuum

Was going to get the inflator with battery but didn't get to it before it was pulled.

$139 drill kit 4.0 2.0
$139 impact driver kit 2 2.0
Circular saw 3.0
Hackzall fuel 3.0
Lantern 2.0 (returning)
Vacuum 3.0
3/8" ratchet non-fuel 3.0
Inflator 2.0 (returning)
Extra 4.0 battery

The inflator is still included. I took advantage of it a few days ago. You just need to find a store with a single 2.0 or 2x3.0.

Does HD carry the new stubby 1/2” impact wrench yet? That would be good to grab with this promo.

The stubby FUEL impacts are exclusive to tool supply houses as of right now. In the US, they've been available to HomeDepot since launch and were released 1-3 weeks earlier than in Canada.

I’ve noticed that. Kind of annoying as I want one and it is to be from HD ( gift cards lol ).

I don't see it on the promo list anyhow, so you wouldn't get any free batteries.

I’ve had good luck with having managers override promotions like this with tools that aren’t on the promotional lists. Regardless, it’s not available at HD Canada yet so the point is moot.

You must have a great manager there. Is your store around Toronto? :-)

Did anyone get this to work online? I'm hoping to get the hackzall, and vacuum with the 2x 3.0 batteries but the promotion isn't showing up. Anyone have any luck?

I believe the 3.0 kit deal has been removed online, might be the same for the 2.0

Does anyone think that cutting frozen lamb with hackzall and a new blade is a bad idea ? And what would be alternative ?

The problem is the paint on the blade more than anything else. If you can get a 'food safe' blade for the hackzall, it may work well but I wouldn't expect it to be too accurate in the cuts.

Order your lamb already cut and wrapped?

Sorry dude, I didn't mean to be a saucy snark, but my Dad was a lamb fan and that was how he purchased it in the fall from the lamb farmer.

As far as the cutting......get an unpainted manual hacksaw or find an unpainted hackzall blade.

Other option is let it thaw a bit and find one of those old style electric knives that were a staple at Christmas dinner thirty years ago.

These are two options that have worked for me in the past.

I am planning on getting the $120 Costco frozen ones. They are usually 12kg so I think it's a good deal. So no ordering face to face. I can probably fit it in my freezer in one piece, but I would rather cook it afterwards in pieces vs whole.
I was thinking of sanding all of the paint off my Milwaukee blade. Probably using factory sand blaster would be the best, although the blade would probably loose some sharpness this way.
