Yeah, they're actually pretty good. 1/2 all metal chuck. Brushless motor. Really compact yet fair amount of torque. Price is just ok.

I have a 12v bosch hammer drill. Its a decent little drill and is handy to have the hammer function for small jobs. It had enough power to sink tapcons for a whole basement subfloor i did a few years back. Easily a couple of hundred, still going strong.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This is its usually price.

Has anyone gone through the warranty process of their Fuel tools? My M18 Fuel is busted. Pull the trigger and nothing happens

Last time I looked the M18 hammer drill kit was less than $300. It’s a good price if you’re invested in the M18 ecosystem. I got an M18 to V18 tool adapter so I don’t have to get rid of my NiCad tools and can still get the latest Milwaukee stuff. I have three 18V NiCad tools that have seen heavy home- to light commercial use since the mid-90s and are still rock-solid (Made in the USA), and currently three remaining NiCad packs that were last replaced about eight years ago. The adapter allows me to get an M18 kit to get a new tool and the newest batteries and a Li-ion charger (the old universal doesn’t fit M18/28), and use the big new batteries on the old tools.

Title is wrong. It’s drill and driver kit for $250

But for reference, lowest price was $150 for m12 hammer drill with 2ah/4ah plus 6ah bonus

Also $150 for m12 impact with 2ah/2ah plus 6ah bonus

Yeah, I had my M18 go on me, the electronics were shot. Lookup a local repair centre on the Milwaukee site. There are some factory service centres in major centres, but many independent hardware stores are authorized too. They'll use the serial number to see if the tool is under 5 years old, and only ask for a receipt if it's over 5 years in my experience.

Nah the reg. price is $300 for this kit. This is the typical sale price but it doesn't go on sale all that often.

It's better than buying 2x SB kits ($129 each) because it's $10 cheaper, and you get 1x4.0 + 1x2.0 instead of 2x2.0. You only get the one charger instead of two but trust me nobody wants more than one M12 charger, lol.

Good deal overall but doesn't qualify in the free CP 3.0 battery promo though, like the regular hard-case kits do ($230 for the 2504 kit; $200 for the 2553 kit).

So the alternative: If you went with these two kits, and did return tricks on both...by my calculation it would turn out to be $302.41 pre-tax and you'd get the same two tools, 3x2.0 + 1x4.0, two chargers, two hard cases (instead of a bag). So $50 more for two extra 2.0 batteries (and that extra charger  ). Up to you if you'd rather extra batteries or not I guess.
