Saw this at Home Depot in Richmond BC. Not sure if this will happen at any other Home Depot store at same time.

Flyer doesn’t show the trade-in value for those brands. I guess only way to find out is to be there in person.

I baby my 9.0 that came with fuel Sawzall. The 9.0 died within 2 years. Wasn't covered under warranty.

or go to kijiji/craigslist and buy the cheapest model you can buy (I dont even think it needs to be working) and trade it in for a free battery.

I have 2 of the 9.0HD batteries (48-11-1890) that I got with a weed trimmer promo 3 years ago. Both batteries have been great for me.

I've got more reading to do.

Looks like I've got a Jan 2017 (1703) and a Feb 2018 (1807) HD9.0 (with grey label), both have been fine.

Garbage promo.

Free batt during promos in the past WITHOUT having to bring in a piece of equipment.

Someone's running a recycle / rebate scam - in this case, the Milwaukee rep.

Why would EGO owners trade-in their cordless outdoor power tool for the Milwaukee line-up? Milwaukee doesn't even have lawn mower nor snowblower and their beefiest battery is merely 18V @ 12Ah. Their 2724-20 FUEL leaf blower is so old that the competitors are already miles ahead. But i guess it'll be a good deal if someone wants to trade in their outdoor power tool for Milwaukee indoor power tool.

It’s not even the tool only, you have to buy the whole kit looks like so the extra battery is.. just extra. Wouldn’t be so bad if they took more name brands but this promo is fairly bleh.. I do like me some Milwaukee tools but this isn’t a great value.
