[Home Depot] OOS - $99.60 - Bosch 120V Bulldog SDS-Plus 3/4-inch Corded Rotary Hammer Drill with Auxiliary Handle and Case

Available normally for $229.

This was OOS few weeks back - it is back in stock again.

Really good deal for a hammer drill.

I have this tool and it's a no-brainer for $99 if you can get a hold of it. If you do just one tile removal renovation or need to drill some big holes, this is perfect for the job.

It depends on what you are doing. SDS Plus bits aren’t like traditional bits in the sense that you’d go grab a complete index of them to have. That will get quite expensive. It’s better to get the ones you need. Common sizes for things like tap cons will be 1/4”, 3/16”, 5/32”. Beyond that just get the bits you need as needed.

Thanks, that makes sense

further building on that

bits are the same price as the drill, and probably wouldn't all get used.
so definitely going to follow your advice

Don't forget to buy some SDS chisels. Home Depot was clearing out the Bosch chisels a couple months ago and replacing them with Milwaukee. I paid 10 bucks each instead of 30 bucks for the milwaukee equivalent.

How is it the hammer drills are always on sale. It's like a factory over produced for a year
