[Home Depot] Phillips Hue white ambiance starter kit ($52)

St Catharine's Home Depot has the Phillips Hue white ambiance starter kit for $52. Normal price is around $129.

This particular kit has two white 800 lumen e26 Hue lamps, a remote switch and Hue bridge. Looks like they are clearing out this particular model.

All Hue bridges are the same - so any Hue light you have will interface with it.

The old bridges don't connect with some of the new apps and stuff though. You really want a 3.0 bridge now.

There's only 2 generations of hubs, and this is the second one.

There is no 3.0 or Gen 3 bridge.

There is only 2 hue bridges, Gen 1 and Gen 2. Bulbs have Gen 1, 2 and 3. So even in the Gen 3 kits, there is still a Gen 2 bridge, which is what's included in this kit.

I bought it today at false creek Home Depot. The price was 129,99. I asked for the manager. I showed the picture and he matched the price.
