You can always get a Ridgid to Ryobi battery adapter.

I can confirm that my local Home Depot had these in stock. There were 20 of them stuck up on a palate, so the guy told me to just order it online for pickup. 3Ah batteries aren't the hugest, but 6Ah worth of power for $80 is a pretty screaming deal.

are these batteries the same cells as the older 4Ah ones they had on clearance? I have a bunch of 4Ah batteries but wouldn't mind a set of these 3s if they're better

Bought for staff use on sites. 5pc kit. Brad nailer. Multi tool. Not too crazy, I have 18v bosch 1in and 3/4 hammer drills as well as corded.

We aren't doing the full time work of a trade, just doing misc stuff, so didn't want to get more expensive tools that may be lost stolen etc. Mainly for the one handyman/site super. All other guys who sub or work for me have their own tools.

Doesn't Rigid have horrible warranty?

Any reported issues? I always worry about aftermarket chargers and life of batteries. Is this a direct flow through? Just changing the connectors? Or something else happening in there

I've been using adapters for years and no issues .. With Ridgid to X, straight contacts is fine because the electronics (BMS) is in the Ridgid battery. Its only a bridge, nothing crazy here happening. 18v is 18v

My mower, my miter saw, hedge trimmer... None are Ridgid but all uses Ridgid

Oh. A co-worker bought Rigid and his drills failed. Took it in for warranty and Rigid said " we won't cover our warranty if our tools were used on a construction site"

My coworker wasn't happy.
