[Home Depot] Ridgid 5 gal tri-stack compressor $209 on clearance from $399

Regularly $399.

Looks like a pretty professional unit.

Saw at Leaside (Toronto) location last night.

I picked up the cordless compressor for $70.

It's on clearance now.

Will do.

I'm going to be going Milwaukee soon for their impact ratchets, so didn't need a heavy duty compressor.

Need one for finishing jobs around the house and the odd time inflation.

You're right, it would be expecting too much to run an impact wrench with this. I'm curious what it can do, and how quiet it is.

BTW, I have the Milwaukee 2663 impact wrench, rated at 450 ft.-lbs. I believe, and it works great.

It's being cleared out at $103 officially, but you can always haggle with the managers.

I'll attach it here once I get home tonight.

I've been watching it for awhile since a lot of stores were dropping the price on them.

I'm waiting on a sale stateside since they have the new Milwaukee Fuel Impact Ratchets. I think cordless has come to a point where the average diy home mechanic can just rely on cordless to get through jobs quicky instead of using a compressor and air tools.

1/4, 3/8, 1/2 while Canada just has the old 3/8 for now.

Thx a bunch. My nearest HD got one in stock so I'll just grab one now.

Can you post a link or lodes details? Having trouble figuring out which one this is, but seems to be more in line with what I would need. Thanks!

https://www.ridgid.com/ca/en/brushless- ... compressor

The problem with the tri-stack is that its really heavy, the onboard I believe is only 1 or .5 gallon.

It requires a 20 AMP circuit connection or it will trip.

And its very, very loud. Even if you can leave the main compressor outside, you will surely piss off your neighbors.
