[Home Depot] Ridgid LED Spotlights Clearance $21.96 YMMV

I was just at Home Depot and they had Ridgid GEN5X 18V LED Spot Lights & Flood Lights on clearance at $21.96. This is a steal if you have the ridgid system!

There were two models on clearance. They are both high powered ones with 2500 & 1200 lumens!

I got the work light (without the handle) for $45 earlier this month, going to see if the price has dropped on it here locally tomorrow. I got it just after getting the $150 (now $75) drill/saw/batteries combo.

I saw the tag for these at the Hamilton Mountain location yesterday but there wasn't any left. Also, keep your eyes out for an 18V Milwaukee light on clearance for around the same price as well.

Went back this morning and got refunded the difference. $21.96 is what it rang up as. Should be this price at all stores now.

Not the case for many of the stores I've checked in the GTA. Rang up this morning at full price.

Found both at the Dartmouth HD. The block looking model was shelf labelled as $21 but the hand grip model was still listed on the shelf at $109 but rang at cash as $21.

Oddly the hand grip model claims 2500 lumens and 30 hours while the block type unit says 1200 lumens and 20 hours.

The hand grip model has as annoying high pitched buzz when you use it at anything but full power. The display model on the shelf did the same thing. You don't hear it though from five feet away.

UPDATE: Forgot to mention stock. There was one block type model and two hand grip models left on the shelf at noon Friday.

UPDATE 2: The hand grip model comes with a 12V cigarette lighter plug and about a 12 foot cord so you can use the light around your car without the Ridgid battery. Under the battery mount there is a power connection for the cord.

I am really surprised that the St.James location is regular price. I would highly recommend getting them to price-match. They pretty much have to since other HD in the city are selling at this price.

Guy in hardware section is little nut...don't even bother to ask him...Goto Customer Care and ask them to call St. Vital or show my receipt....that's it..
