The next nearest store with stock for those looking is Morningside, but the computer says 1. Markham East has 3 & Ellesmere has 3.

Are these worthwhile at 2 aH?

At least one more. Sorry I can't be more precise, they were on an upper shelf and there could have been more than that.

If you cut them open, you can see that mostly they all use the same standard lithium-ion cells purchased from the same manufacturers (http://toolguyd.com/milwaukees-next-gen ... iscussion/)

The reason why each brand has a proprietary battery form factor is strictly for profit. The tool brands make more money when the lock buyers in to their own proprietary battery line.

Are you really that naive?

Why does Android use USB and Apple use Lightning connector?

Small part of it is engineering or design, but the biggest reason is economic ecosystem. If everyone had the same battery/connector/charger it would severely bite in to profits of tool industry.
