[Home Depot] Roomba 960 - $495

The Roomba 960 isn't the top of the line model anymore but it's still extremely good. On sale from iRobot's website for $550, regular price at Home Depot is $800. Price match online brings it down to $495 + tax.

Note that it took way longer than usual to have a price match approved due to the current situation, and my current estimated arrival date is June 15 for in-store pickup.

Does anyone own this? I have an older model and it misses things, how does this compare?

I still do a full vacuum as well but the older model was a bit of a let down, I’ve heard good things about the current models

Older models didn't have filters. Are they necessary for this to work? Seems annoying to have to keep buying/replacing filters

I actually did it through text. 84322 is the number I think.

I would suggest watching the vacuum wars video on the 960 before purchasing.

Pardon my ignorance, is that one you got better? I see in your screenshot it mentions "mop", this really caught my interest in the evolution of robo vacs.

I think deebot ozmo 930 is much more better.

I've had the 960 for a few years now and it's great. I had typically let it run during the day when I was at work and it's great for maintenance cleaning. I come home to clean floors. I prefer the navigation feature of this model so it's not randomly bumping around like the older models.

I thought they don't beat by 10% for online retailers?

Right. Assuming one is a member, I'd say the $50.00 is worth the return policy without even considering the value of the bonus filters and not having to deal with the hassle of a price match.

If you don't care about mapping feature, Shark IQ is better. Compared to my Roomba 985 it cleans better and much quieter, auto-empty bin is a bonus feature at this price range. Also, I noticed that corner cleaning of Shark is much better than Roomba. You can buy Shark IQ currently for $479 (use code Clean120) - https://direct.sharkclean.com/16/produc ... iii/?opt=2
