[Home Depot] Ryobi 10 in Sliding Mitre 198$ (with free stand until Oct 31)

I've been waiting for this saw with the stand to go on sale for some time.

HD is running the free stand promotion for some months already but it's ending tomorrow.
What makes it even better now, is that HD changed the price today from 248 to 198!

The lowest recent price I could find on RFD was 199$ in June 2017: https://forums.redflagdeals.com/home-de ... 9-2104112/

I wasn't able to use the free stand promotion online (not even with the online chat), but the transaction went smoothly in store: the cashier scanned both items and found the promo barcode on a paper he had on his desk.

I've attached the free item promo and the important section of my invoice.

I added to the cart and the stand doesn't come along. Any other trick?

As per my initial post:

It's this one: https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home/p.mitr ... 68606.html
Seems pretty good for the price, except that it doesn't have any wheels...

I dont know much about the other saw, but the Ryobi has been great. I've done a few jobs with it now. The stand is solid. It's much better than I was expecting.

This is a great deal. Thought I did well getting Kobalt 10" sliding mitre saw for $150 plus Ryobi stand for $88.

Price drop AND a free stand to boot, great find. Thanks! I'll be picking one up tomorrow.

Thank you for posting, just went in and grabbed one. Stand was added free without an issue.

Stores seem to have many of the saws but not many stands.

Got it in 2017 and worth every penny. Buy nnaaaoooowww if you’re in the market for a miter saw ( or if you just can’t resist a good deal ).

I wouldn't get the other saw, just because I dislike Rona's customer service.

But I did get the Ryobi same sale 2 years ago with the stand, and it's been great. Albeit never use the stand, I just put it on the ground and chop away. It's awesome.

Here we go again :). Got this last year same price. Solid buy.

I can vouch for the build quality of the Roybi stand. I bought this stand at regular price (for a different saw) and it is solid. If you need a mitre saw and stand, this is a good deal.
