Can anyone weigh in on if this 1800 psi (and the Kobalt 1700 psi) is enough psi to be used for pressure-washing a wooden fence to get rid of the grey and get it looking newer again? I did try googling it and checking youtube but there seem to be conflicting opinions on 1200 psi being enough for said task and 3200+ being required. Hard to tell who is wrong and right

I'm 99% sure the Ryobi and Kobalt $89 units are literally the same internals, just rebranded. Everything is identical on the units parts wise. Just different colors and accessories included.

I use a 2500psi gas pressure washer with foam cannon to wash truck and cars no issues so 1800 will be just fine.

People may also want to consider this unit from home depot https://www.homedepot.ca/product/bosch- ... 1001342412 it has a flow rate of 5.83 lpm, comes with a version of a foam cannon/soap applicator, and packs up tight for easy storage.

If area not allow gas, we buy Sun Joe SPX3001.
It will take very long with this one and not do good job.

I'm assuming this wouldn't be powerful enough to strip paint off a concrete porch? And then clean pavers efficiently? Any recommendations or how much psi/gpm I would require? Gas is pretty much out of the question, don't have the space to store something that big indoors.

I have never used a pressure washer, is the max 1800 (adjustable) or is it always at 1800 PSI?
