Ryobi 18V 4Ah Lithium+ HP Battery $65 (50% off) - MTL

I could say that a couple months ago I got 2 of these 4Ah batteries, plus charger and carrying case, for basically the same price (I think it was $69). That was a screaming enough deal I couldn't pass it up, but just barely. The truth is that since free batteries are such a common promotion, I'd rather spend my money on a tool and get the batteries for free.

EDIT: Not wanting to make a liar of myself, I just checked my batteries and they are not HP branded - so it's not actually apples-to-apples. I googled the difference, and apparently the HP batteries work better for Ryobi's brushless line of tools (ie high-power draw devices - I've provided a link below). So I guess it depends if that matters to you or not.

PMd at a winnipeg store using your picture. 65 for the 4ah hp batt was going to get it at 88 but they gave it at 65. I hope they had the 3ah batts here

Most HDs were clearing out the "old" HP batts a while ago. I got a 6Ah for $47 I think it was...

Pretty much all HDs around here were cleared out pretty quick after that^ thread. I happened upon a 6Ah with a completely open yet intact package after most places were cleared out, just by accident sitting at one HD location--was behind a bunch of other batteries in a mess of stuff lol. Took it to the cash and scanned and came up as the $47 price so I took it.

Also, there was the random period while the new/"2nd gen" 4Ah HP 2pk was on sale for $129, chain-wide. That sale ended in January though I think and it's back up to like $200 or whatever.

Wasted a good 15 mins with customer service in Moncton, NB

Tried to get them to PM they said no, sale was “store specific”

I grabbed it for their sale price or 88$ but I’m unsure if I’ll be keeping it or not.

Vaudreuil has tons as well.
