[Home Depot] RYOBI 18V ONE+ HP Compact Brushless Hammer Drill and Impact Kit with (2) 1.5 Ah Batteries and Charger - $149 (YMMV)

Was browsing my local HD after doing a pick up order and noticed the yellow tag on the Ryobi compact brushless hammer drill and impact driver kit with 2 x 1.5 ah batteries.

Listed online and stock track for $199. My store has it for $149 so could be YMMV. This is slightly cheaper for people who wanted the hammer drill and impact driver from this thread home-depot-ryobi-18v-one-brushless-hp-h ... 9-2511198/

For the same two products and 2 batteries it’s $10 cheaper if you find this kit. Good luck!

I saw the other Ryobi thread with $79 for each of the brushless drill + impact driver but they were sold out when I hit up my nearest Home Depot.

I ended up picking up a brushed Impact Driver + Drill instead. It was listed for 138 but somehow this tag was shown for $119 and they honoured this price.

I asked the guy how much difference between Brushless vs Brushed and he said the technology keeps changing, people were using brushed for decades so if it's just things to do around the house I personally don't think it's a big factor. I've been using my IKEA set for years now so I thought to upgrade.

New to tools, is this better than the $79 set?

They are the exact same tools. Just in a bundle as opposed to separate kits.

Hence why I’m saying if you want both tools, this is better as it’s $10 cheaper

Just hit me, it only comes with 1 charger. I guess for someone who wants two changers, for a difference of $10 to have a spare charger to buy it separately

I saw this bundle in store when I went to check for the two $79 tools and noted the model numbers were different. Full disclosure, not sure if there is any difference in the specific tools or if it's more so just bundle vs individual packaging.

Bundle:
Hammer drill: PSBHM01B
Impact: PSBID01B

Individual:
Hammer drill: PSBHM01K
Impact: PSBID01K1SB

I opted for the two individual tools because I figured worst case, I was paying an extra $10 for a second charger and bag.

Did the hammer drill set come with a bag?

Yeah see the tool model # is just the parts I bolded there.

Then the suffix is like:
B-indicates bare tool (I think all Ryobi that's what it means, Ridgid sometimes B indicates a newer revision of a tool.)
K-indicates it's a kit
SB-indicates it's a Special Buy package

This is probably why though the hammer drill kit is listed with the "Special Buy" icon at HD, it doesn't appear to come with the bag, whereas the impact being an SB kit, does. At least that's how it looks--doesn't appear that the drill has the bag; but, it does have a charger of course.
