those batteries are weaksauce, they are ok if you need small and lightweight, but realistically not a good value for power and runtime

for example the new 9.0ah HP batts are WAY more powerful, and 6x the capacity of a 1.5ah, so really $16.78*6=$100 and change, the 9.0AH can be bought in a 2 pack for $200...

Or if you don't need the 9.0ah the 6.0ah are also significantly more powerful for $159 for a pair, compared to $16.78*4=67*2=134... so not a significant difference.

Second this. Plus brushless Ryobi tools are more powerful when used with HP batteries. The tool even sounds different with HP. All my batteries are 4Ah+. The only downside is high capacity batteries are bulkier. I can only see compact batteries being useful when paired with tools like glue gun or inflator which doesn't perform better with bigger batteries.

1.5ah capacity is only ok if you aren't going to be using it much or you like to charge frequently. To give you some perspective the Redmi Note 4 phone comes with a 4.1ah battery.

and you didn't post it?
considering it is Ryobi it's still probably there on the shelf. happy hunting

also.. call the store? why criticize people? I don't spend every day on these forums... it was a heads up saying that this store had that pricing. You can always call and check for yourself if you live near and are interested. Perhaps they have more?

At 3.85 volts not 18v. Apples to oranges. 15.785 Wh vs 27 Wh. Just about double the battery capacity.

Personally I prefer the small battery when using impact driver often as much less weight when driving many screws.
