I have this set as well as a brushless Milwaukee. This set is great for home use and even better if you have someone helping you that isn't so handy with power tools (my friends that were helping me were stripping screws with my Milwaukee and this is much easier for them to handle. Thanks OP.

I only need the charger.... looks like this deal is better than just buying the charger alone?

Charger should go to $20-30 on Kijiji, wait for people to part out, or buy it and sell the rest:

$20 Drill
$30 Impact
$20x2 Batteries
$10 Bag...(maybe)

Free charger basically

I might keep the 2 batteries too, seems like a deal.

I too own this set and a (not brushless) milwaukee M18. I cannot agree with your assessment. milwaukee is way easier to operate IMO. how do you strip screws? asking because I literally never had this problem even with phillips. just not press hard enough? I dont see how RYOBI would help with that.

that said, this kit is still very usable. if you are building something, I don't recommend it. otherwise, yeah, it's super good value.

Need to break them loose first with a breaker bar, while it might have enough power, it is lose in the tiny hex adapter

This isn't the right size impact wrench for work like that - it's only rated for 133lb/ft

Brushless kit is $100 more but comes with one extra brushless bare tool

https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home/catego ... ryobi.html (or the RC Truck!)
What do you mean by this? The second link doesn't work for me could I get this brushless set and the Ryobi 18v circular saw for a good price?

I've been using this set for a couple months. Used them to build some furniture with my kreg pocket hole jig, work fine.

The only thing its missing is a little light to shine where you are drilling/driving.

But for 88 bucks, it's a really good deal.
