[Home Depot] Ryobi 40V Brushless Lawnmower Original $798. Discounted to $598 (YMMV)

Saw this lawnmower on clearance at my local home depot (Henning drive in Burnaby).

It was discounted to $598. Sales lady told me it was the high end model from last season and they have the new models in so they are on discount. I saw about 10 of them at the location I was at.

happy shopping.

Expensive, but offers 21" dual "cross-cut" blades to cut the grass more cleanly, and dual 6ah batteries with a 1 hr rapid charger. The batteries sell separately for around $200 each.

I don't believe the blades are counter rotating. I've researched a lot of mowers in the last week and this was never mentioned about the Ryobi or the Ego, the other dual blade manufacturer.

You're right - the mis-named "cross cut" blades are actually just a high blade and a low blade designed to cut twice.
