Id say thats a decent deal. Paid 350 last year for this MINUS the circular saw and the free leaf blower.
But I did get +2 2.0Ah Batteries, +2 Chargers and the Cordless Orbit Sander instead.

Yeah this is a super deal. Do I need another set?...

Does anyone know how much the blower would be if you picked up in store and returned the 6tool combo?

Anyone see this in Ontario? Would be a great deal especially if the return value of the blower is good

Without doing the exact math the return value would be about 100$ for the blower.

Edit: made a correction to the return value. It should have been aprox 30% less then retail, I had it at 30% of it's retail value.

Return value for the blower is 106.63 if you paid 328 for the whole thing

How does this compare to the ridgid set for $299?

The biggest issue I have is the circular saw with 5 1/2 blades. It's limitating and you have less choice of blades. Kits with a 6 1/2 model is a much better economical option IMHO.

Agree. Unfortunately all of the current Ryobi kits have the 5.5" saw. I figured I'd just get the kit anyway and pick up a larger saw later when I need it.

These kits have the 6 1/2 saw

More expansive because more tools.

Another option is to buy a kit that doesn't have the circular saw and buy the 6 1/2 (or 7 1/4) saw separatly. That's what I did last summer with this kit

I mentioned this in a couple other threads...
One mention is here:
home-depot-ridgid-ryobi-charged-up-even ... #p34821673

I also mentioned it on the Ridgid clearance thread where ppl were going bananas for the 5-tool kit there, but no one seemed to be interested at the time

It was actually $328 chain-wide during Ryobi days and you could still get the blower with it at that time. After RD ended the price went up to $399, but still with the blower bonus. As OP says it's probably YMMV if any stores are selling at the reduced price.

And no the tools are not brushless, however the free blower is and is HP. It's the highest-end ONE+ (18V) blower Ryobi has in the lineup right now I believe. Hence why I was suggesting ppl use return trick for the blower.
