[Home Depot] Ryobi Impact Driver with charger and 2 batteries - $50.60

For those of you that have some Ryobi tools but need batteries, this deal is likely one of the better ones available at the moment:

https://www.homedepot.ca/product/ryobi- ... 1000751349

Regular listed price is $98, but on sale for $69.50. With the current Ryobi summer tour promo, that brings the price down to $55.60 (20% off). With the Home Depot newsletter coupon, you can get another $5 off bringing the total to $50.60 plus tax

Kit includes a case, the impact driver, charger, and 2 batteries

Lugs?

This is a driver, not an impact wrench.

If I don’t have Rona’s $239 dewalt combo, I will set over this, I have many Ryobi tools except impact driver.
The first online shopping @RONA is very bad for me. Put an order on Jun 18, delivered on Jul 7th. I found both of my packages lack of impact driver. They are should be a combo. Went to Rona on Jul 7th, got it fixed. It should be delivered soon.

Is this Ontario only?

"Unavailable in Your Area" everywhere I've checked in BC.

1/4" drive. This tool is meant for driving screws.

For lugs you want a 1/2" (minimum) impact wrench.

It says unavailable in my area (vancouver). Is it on store or online too? Do the 20% off only during the tour?

Based on a recent youtube breakdown, the 1.5A batteries (of which these are) only provide about 40% of the power of the next size up.

On a fresh charge it was the difference between driving a screw in smooth the first time, and having it struggle to get there at all.

Darn beat me to it. "This is not brushless." But, at the price you can't really expect it to be. $70 is too much for my liking for a brushed tool like this but with the additional discount you probably can't beat it. It does come with two batteries too, which is nice. Personally I'd still find a brushless deal of some sort instead or go with the M12 2553 kit with the one 2.0 battery, charger, bag for $129. There's also the DeWalt Atomic 20V (18V) kit for the same price.

Or if one wants to stick to Ryobi deals, this one is good if you can find stock. With the 20% off it will be just $150 for the [brushless] drill, driver, two batteries, charger, and bag. Unfortunately the batteries are only 1.3A but hey it's two brushless tools in a kit with everything for $150 so can you really complain? Just beware stock is quite limited in GTA from the looks of it:

Rona’s $239 dewalt brushless combo with free tool is the best deal. But Rona sucks.

Good luck finding one in GTA. I have been looking for it for weeks. It was marked down to $49 at a Oakville store but out of stock.
