I have this tool kit plus lawn mower, trimmer, and impact wrench. All run under the same 18v battery. The whole eco system rocks. I'll never go back to wired power tools again.

LOL I actually just ordered the impact wrench yesterday! This one with the included 4.0 battery and charger for 129: https://www.homedepot.ca/product/ryobi- ... 1001170239

Which I think is a pretty decent price seeing how the 4.0bat/charger separately is 118 Astonished Face: https://www.homedepot.ca/product/ryobi- ... 1001027514

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately we’re pretty far apart as I’m in Hamilton. I’m sure someone else will take you up on the offer though!

Is it a real big issue? I just placed an order, and am a newbie to these power tools.

Hmmm weird, when I posted it all the way to when I last checked (I thought it was after 12am) it was up. This sale even still shows on the Ryobi tool kit directory https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home/catego ... Name:RYOBI, but not when you go to the model... either this the bonus sale ended at 12am (I didn't think this one has been up that long) or RFD effect, which I doubt.... Deal dead already? Sorry guys :( Anyone know how to move to expired?

I would have been interested in the brad nailer but unfortunately I only have Dewalt batteries Disappointed Face (and heard of issues using the makeshift plastic adapter for Ryobi to Dewalt). The Ryobi brad nailer is well reviewed so this was a pretty good deal IMO:

IIRC the free brad nailer offer was already on last week, but the combo kit was not on sale yet.
seems like the combo kit just went on sale just as the brad nailer offer was finishing and there was a small overlap.

I've been trying to hunt down which stores still have the old 6 piece kit which is on clearance for $199 (50% off)

I'd be interested in someone's nailer. Located in Brampton but can meet up elsewhere.

Pm with price and location

Not bad for the price... my take on these tools (as a DIY weekend warrior / wood worker hobbyist).

The impact driver and drill are decent... most are these days. The batteries should be decent... the 1.5 should have been a 2.0 instead... as 1.5 is kinda useless imho for any kind of work. The the 18g nailer is good and being free is even better, you'll get a lot of use from it for any kinda of home reno. The multi-tool is good but bulky... very seldom used tool, but when you need it you'll love it :)

Onto the bad... the light is garbage and filler pretty much. The sawzal is terrible... too much vibration and weak. The circular is usable... But the blade is too short for angle cuts, plus 5-1/2 blades are more expensive then generic 7 1/4 or 6 1/2 blades. And the saw is somewhat "dangerous" for a newbie... as there is no electronic brake that comes with most cordless circular saws these days... which is ridiculous from ryobi considering my 8yr old milwaukee 18v circular saw has electronic brake.

That's my 2 cents... it's a good deal for just the batteries, drill+impact, brad nailer, and multi-tool.
...zzz...zzz...zzz...
