I was able to order. 3pm ET. Mind you, I had it in my cart since 2:30pm. was on the fence, but decided to pull the trigger.

Not being able to direct snow is the most annoying part of this snow shovel. It’s quite heavy too and pushing it back and forth can get tiring.

It is fairly powerful though for what it is.
I have the same concern!

I have had this snow shovel for about 5-6 years now.

Since you can't blow it onto the street (or you shouldn't) you'll have to blow it to one side or the pother of the house if doing the driveway. I have some retaining walls so its not easy to blow it over the walls.

I would rather shovel lengthwise and have the snow blow either left or right.

I owned one of these. If you want to simply blast snow off your back deck and have it land 20 feet away then you are in for a treat.

You will have very little to no control on limiting the distance the snow discharge lands.

Bought and cancelled my order after reading multiple reviews mentioning the poor design and struggle to use this.

Even one RFD mentioned the same.

It's showing regular price but I'm pretty sure this is a mistake since its 108$ at Home Depot USA. I remember seeing this last year in the 150$ range locally

Much better (IMO) than the Snow Joe products.

FREE SHIPPING as well
Not sure how this is a hot deal at regular price $98.
How do you know it's a pricing mistake?

Received delivery yesterday. Still new in unopened box. Changed my mind - looks good but might not be as useful for my needs.

Will probably return it to store unless someone wants to buy it at cost ($98+taxes). Would meet in Pointe-Claire location. PM if interested.

UPDATE SEPT. 22nd:
No longer available.

Got this three years ago. Its actually quite powerful. My main complaint it there is no control on how high and far it throws the slow. I end up blowing it all onto my neighbor or up high and blows with the wind.
great idea to blow it over neighbours side. build a snow fort!

Some reason when i read electric power shovel, I imagined a motorized shovel to dig a hole into dirt and not snow.
Not sure what it would have looked like but something along the lines of a simpson electric hammer hack.

That said my only issue is the snow can only blow straight in front of you, so your either blowing it to a neighbor or the street which may or may not have a car parked in range.
