Surprised HD would even stock this grill.

Spending over 2 grand for a bbq one will not be shopping at HD. Most will want a built-in or custom designed bbq area.

We have a Weber Summit and have had it for many years. Never replaced any parts.

I'd buy another in a heart beat. You can buy other brands and replace them regularly or just buy the Weber once and be done. They're really that durable and long lasting.

Amazing deal.
I paid 1449 at Lowe's during their clearance event. (50%).

Nonetheless this is an amazing deal and I'd buy at this price!

Make sure you register for warranty.

Also the Costco BBQ cover barely fits as this BBQ is huge incase your wondering. It won't cover all the way down to the wheels/legs.

Looks like you bought the floor model?

It's a LED light for grilling at night.

Seems like this is a grill light but on the Weber site it has terrible reviews. Looks like the grill ‘n go light is the replacement. Anyone have any reco on either of these?

Not sure to be honest, all the plastic wrappers were still intact.
They claimed it was not a floor model and just assembled.

I remember traveling to all the Lowe's and Rona.
LP was easy to find. NG was nearly impossible to find on clearance.

They even had the 6 burner version but I passed as it was propane. (Pictured).

But for $2000 and being NG, I would run for this deal!

Yes it's the grill light. It does come handle. I hear they break easily, water getting inside and ruining, but haven't had any issues yet.

There's also LEDs around the knobs.

No infrared side burner. Therefore I wouldn't pick this over a Napoleon prestige pro.

I just called the Warden/Ellesmere store to verify that they had stock... and to verify price. The woman said that the $1999 reduced price was only for the damaged floor model. That's different than what the OP said. ugh.

Weird - the 6-burner e670 (LP) in box was just over $1200 plus tax at my Lowes - grabbed one of course (almost grabbed two!). I also have the s420, which is an earlier slightly higher quality version of the one in the OP, but without the sear burner, and I have to say the e670 is sooo much better. Don't care about NG though - it doesn't burn as hot and I have three tanks so refill when two are empty, so never any issue of running out.

This bbq is a winner every day. Much better then the Napoleon (and that’s a great grill too) but this is a very different build. The summits I believe are still made in the US. All others are now made in China and Weber got acquired by a private equity company a couple years back when they changed the models. This will last you well over a decade, warranty is next to none.
