[Home Depot] WeMo plug 19.00/light switch 26.95 liquidation YMMV

just at local HD for some DAP and saw the WeMo plug is in their liquidation section, check the price
it shows 19.00 for the plug and 26.95 for light switch, bestbuy has it for 49.99 and 59.99

it's the big plug not the new mini version, but judging from pics i found on internet, it won't block the bottom socket on outlet, but as i only have light on the outlet I don't really care that much.

it supports Google Home so my GH can control more of my life

still have about 20 left at Gatineau HD

my local HD (Burnaby) had these collecting dust in the clearance isle a few months ago but when I asked a cashier to check the price they still came up as $49

Maybe I'll see if there are any left locally

price and info updated, I didn't realized they have both plug and light switch till i got home and accidentally viewed the photo again and saw that

the switch as expected is more expensive sale price than the plug, but still more than 50% off original price
so grabbed 3 and only 4 left

will upload receipt for any possible PM later tonight

Just went to Red Maple location and was scanned $49.99 at the cashier. Spoke with customer service desk who checked the system and the item does indicate discontinued/Clearance. Told me to speak with the head cashier manager. Explained to her this item seems to be on clearance. Showed her the redflagdeal OP and she was able to apply the discount. Got 2 @ $19.99

Another RFDer was behind me and I scanned out at $49, not sure if he left already, but when I got the discount, tried to find him to let him know... oh well, good luck!

system showed 7 in stock at Red Maple, 11 at the Markham Road/14th. Cheers.

Waterloo, Kitchener, and Cambridge locations have had them on for $19 this week as well. Guelph wants $37 on clearance lol

The Belkin app is crap, but Home Automation picks them right up for use.
