Yep. I've done that with one of the zillions set I have. Now I have a drill set for the car or any furniture.CaptSmethwick wrote: ↑ Yes. If you have a bolt cutter or a metal cut-off blade on an angle grinder and can remove the angled part of these keys. I do this all the time.

These are husky and has a life time warranty. If anything you can alwaya take them back.CaptSmethwick wrote: ↑ $5 is a no-brainer. I doubt these are made from S2 steel (my favourite for hex keys) as even the regular price is pretty cheap. Not the highest quality tools but five bucks!!!

Until you snap the ball end off in the screw. Unsuitable for higher torque applications.davidclegg wrote: ↑ Can't dump on the post since the price can't be beat, but if you're going to be using hex wrenches a lot then I really recommend the ball-end style for the increased flexibility when using them in off-angle positions.

Husky just is not a high quality brand and I can't conceive of a situation where I would make a warranty claim for a hex key. That doesn't take away from the deal.chrisanthony14 wrote: ↑ These are husky and has a life time warranty. If anything you can alwaya take them back.
