[Home Depot] YMMV- Various Ridgid combos on Clearance- In store only!

Hello Ridgid Fans

I was at Home Depot Brampton North and saw the below Ridgid kits on sale.

The 5 tool combo kit is seems the most attractive one. It seems most home depot clearing out all old batch of Ridgid tools and price may vary from store to store. lots of them on the stock

These are in Store only and prices vary from store to store- YMMV

$399 kit looks like a good deal. Too bad I already bought the hammer drill/impact kit with 2 x 4aH batteries for $225 same time as the ridigd promo. Then bought the circular during the promo and returned the battery bringing the cirular saw to about $77.61. Thus my total for the Circular saw+impact driver+hammer drill+(2 x 4aH batteries)+bag was about $302.61. Even given my good deal here you get the recirprocating saw and light for a bit more with what I assume would be a bigger bag. Prices on other kits look decent too, but not historical bests.

Hope there is still stock as this was a few days ago and I forgot to post, but Greenfield Park has more aggressive prices. Also the usual 2x4AH Ryobi batteries for 70$ and other deals I am not sure were worth it.

Doit-être you have the sku of the X5 combo at 299?

Thanks!

I think the Kobalt deal from yesterday is much better for anyone looking for drill and impact driver.

Worth to checkout at least.

$199 is a good deal for an old(5 years?) kit.

At $399, it's still overpriced. $199 or less and I'm all over it for mainly some back-up tools.

You got a way better deal. The kit mentioned here is brushed first of all and its almost 10 years old technology versus yours which is 3-4 years old technology.

By the way that kit was $299 in December 2019 if you have a time machine.

You don't get lifetime warranty on the batteries so in 7-10 years you need to buy mew batteries meaning it will cost you more.

Thanks!
I am 99% sure it is the same as OP's thread, should be this one:
https://www.homedepot.ca/product/ridgid ... 1000837744
Same "normal" price of 597$ reflected by stocktrack (the sale isn't), and the only 5-tool combo available online. I remember it had both saws, and I already have 4 of those 5 tools.

Ahh, didn't know it was that old. And someone else mentioned this is brushed; also missed that.

Popped in to see what Ridgid sales were on at my local HD. Saw the 5 tool gen5x kit for $399. Decent deal. That was the only thing I saw advertised. Was hoping to find octane bare tools on clearance. Website seems to indicate this will be happening soon as it's showing limited stock for many.

Any chance I can get my local store to price match this? Not sure of their policy.

Thanks, I just came from Greenfield Park, and while your photo area had none left and their system was showing as 0 stock, I spotted one up on the shelf (there was also 1 more behind it) which the lady went up to get. It scanned on her computer at $208. She initially could only get it down to $148, but after I showed her your photo she did it by hand down to $90 :)
