[Home Depot] YMMV WiZ dimmable LED BR30 $5.1

Highly YMMV. Spotted at Gerrard Square Home Depot. Wiz dimmable wifi led lamps. Daylight and warm colour temps available.

Stupidest name for electrical goods ever: "I'm going to take a whiz on my lightbulb and see what happens" Would be a painful exercise (as frequently proven on YouTube).

Good price if you can find them.

I have been using a bunch of the BR30 bulbs for a couple of months and they work well. Not great though, as the 5 out in the front soffits can be finicky. In their defense, they're further from the router and outside. The app is really well designed and I created groups (rooms/locations). The multi-colour ones are very cool for the various holidays.

The clearance prices are random and store specific. My 2 local Home Depots have different ones on clearance and they won't price match each other.

Not sure about the wifi chip inside.

No luck trying to OTA flash any of the Wiz stuff so far if that's what you're asking. Should be 8266 based though if you feel like trying to serial program them.
