[Home Hardware] Handsaw 5.87 (brand : Benchmark) starts Feb-18

DEAL STARTS TOMORROW FEB-18

I'm shopping for one handsaw for occasional usage and found this. Other places are selling around $14-$15 at least.

And HH is Canadian, so support local business when possible Sign Of The Horns

I've been meaning to get a hand saw so that I don't need to get one of the power tools out for a quick cut. Will grab one of these. Thanks op!

I had one, I cut a few 2x4s and 2x6s for garage shelves and so and then I used it as a workout device.
I had to check if i am trying to cut with the dull side cause it felt so much so.

Cons: everything but it;s current price
Pros: use this 3 times a week and lose 15 lb a month

Classic case of you get what you pay for. Some will say" its good around the house, here and there". No, it is not. It's crap. I paid full price. Now I have to go buy another one, but this time I am doing some reading and buying a decent quality one.

+1. I'm a big fan of my Suizan Japanese pullsaw. Silky smooth and quick clean cuts. Definitely not as cheap as OP's deal, but Chinese-copies can be had for $30. Buy once cry one, etc.
