Anyone have experience using a permanent washable furnace filter? I am sick of running to the store every couple of months.

i found it was too much of a hassle to wash and wait for it to dry before using (or i'm too lazy)

using the disposible filters again

I'd like to return this filter because it's been keeping my entire family up at night.

I have a washable one. As soon as you have a place to clean it during heavy winter, it's a good option.

I don't, so it's always a mess cause it creates a thin "carpet".

They work but don't filter as well.
Also cleaning it requires some water pressure, a garden hose (when its not winter), a handheld shower head, that sort of thing. And it takes a few hours to dry.
Frankly i would just buy a dozen disposable filters and top up to a dozen on the next sale.
In fact in Rand McNally they wear hats on their feet and hamburgers eat people

Updated title and my comment, Ontario Flyer.
Not sure if it’s Nationwide.
