Home Security System

Hi everyone!!!

We are looking to install outdoor cameras and maybe 1 indoor camera.

We need at least 5 outdoor cameras

Husband wants them wired.

We have Google home and nest thermostat.

Would prefer NO subscription fee but be able to go back at least a week to review footage. Does that even exit with no subscription?

How are Costco systems?
Do the doorbell systems have a subscription?

Thanks for your help!!!!!

of course it exists with no subscription. your looking for a security camera system with a pvr/dvr type of box., the pvr/dvr is where the recordings are stored on. the cheap ones are difficult to set up but the more expensive ones are better, they have remote access where you can login from outside your home so perhaps from work and monitor the cameras etc. pretty cool. Costco sells some cameras but because of the lockdown i think theyre not available to buy until the Ford government provincial lockdown is lifted

The Nest Doorbell is reasonable in cost for subscription, $50/year and great quality, easy to use from app while away from home. The subject detection works well too, alerts of packages being delivered or pickedup.

App is pretty responsive to open and answer the door too
