Honda clarity Vs volt?

Debating whether to get honda electric over volt. Price is around the same price after rebate.

I like honda where they didn't change design much.

Both uses electric and gas

Honda has been in and out of the hybrid/electric-gas market for a number of years and never had any real success. In fact, if you do some research on Honda hybrids in general, they have a less than stellar track record in terms of reliability of the hybrid system. Since this would be a newish endeavour for Honda (as far as the Clarity model goes) I would stay away for at least the first year of introduction to give other people a chance to find issues and report back.

On the other hand, the Volt seems to pretty quiet in terms of news which is a good thing.

Clarity is one size bigger than volt. I suggest u go see both in person. Volt is like cruze size and clarity is as big as accord.

Interesting. 76 km. Only 2.5 hr charge time.

Volt is definitely on the smaller side.especially the rear seats. If you are using it a a family car then volt may not work. It's more of a work car.

There's a rather large thread on it here already.

tldr;
clarity offers more passenger room, but for whatever reason they've crippled the electric ability compared to volt.

If you want a vehicle to feel comfortable in with real 5-seat capacity then the Clarity. But problem is it is ugly (subjective)

If you don't mind feeling a little closed in but want a better drive system overall then the Volt.

I live in Ontario and rebate offer is $14000. Let say if I buy electric car for 40k, the 14k will be deducted to 26000k a.i?

Do you get rebate deducted at the dealership or government provides you cheque?

These questions had already been answered.

it only took Telsa's success for other carmakers to realize nobody wants some hideous looking EV car. Why this line of thinking is still pervasive is beyond me.
I'll see you at the top, cause the bottom is too crowded

Volt premium contains Bose speaker for extra 800. Is this worth it?

Depends on how much music you listen to, It's worth it to me. I listen to music half the time and appreciate the crisp sound along with the base from the subwoofer.

They must've handed the design duties to some Japanese old-timer engineer/designer. The partially covered wheel is just hideous and has no place on today's streets.

Isn't the Bose system standard in the LTZ? My speakers say Bose and I paid nothing extra.
