Honda tire rotation mandatory maintenance

Hi,

So last oil change I was suppose to do a tire rotation but I didn't. I was wondering if I do it myself would that void the warranty (since I'm planning to change out my winter tire myself)? And if it wont void, how do I make a valid proof that I did the rotation?

Another question is I usually go to shop (green bay tire) to get my tire change (to and from winter tires), do they usually do the rotation too?

thanks!

No you won't void your warranty either way. However, without proof you did it, any claims you might make about tire wear could be invalidated.
Unless you're watching them properly rotate the tires (and tires are labelled where they were previously installed) they're probably just installing randomly.
If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

The tires are covered by the Tire manufacturers pro rated warranty. I wouldn't worry about voiding the warranty, go ahead and rotate tires yourself.

I don't think tires that came installed on your car from the manufacturer carry the same warranty.

Any tire warranty will certainly require proof of rotations being done.

Unless the dealership is providing the warranty, the manufacturer isn't going to care too much about tire rotation, but rather the total mileage and condition of the tires.

Try claiming for a tire when you have a problem by calling either dealer or tire company. All denied as I found out on few occasions on new cars, unless you bought separate tire wear warranty.

oh thank you guys. I guess i don't have to worry then, since I didn't buy any extra warranty. I only have the 3 years warranty that comes free with the car.
I asked the question beause I read somewhere that if I don't do my package B maintenance properly, if anything happen they can void my warranty.

Do you do seasonal tire switches? Just rotate them at that point.
