The Nano S2 is a much better option for new(or experienced) helicopter pilots. I've got over 40 hours of flight on one of mine. The two flight stability modes really help when learning. It takes an incredible amount of practice to fly a collective pitch helicopter well, even more when you want to do stunts/3D.

The Nano S2 is definitely the better option for a beginner, but Horizon only had them for 9% off :( . Yea CP helis are not easy to fly, especially the power they pack so zippy!! It took me hours on an MSR to get comfortable enough to get the mcpx at the time.

This is not for a beginner. You would want without back rotor control

I got my first rc plane and it basically shattered to pieces (They are harder to build back compared to a heli)!! ended up getting a simulator and got way better results with my next plane. There are many brands try looking for something indoor if you have access to a gymnasium

Don't even try to fly it in apartment if you don't know what you are doing.
This beast can be quite dangerous without practice.

The new drone law applies to every RC that flies.
