A nozzle doesn't increase pressure, it increases velocity

I also bought mine from costco, and have noted that the problem was caused by a twisted or bent hose.

You don't understand the difference between static and dynamic pressure do you? The user of a hose nozzle, pressure washer or air gun doesn't care too much about static pressure.

Just get the basic metal pistol. I have purchased basically everything from wands, multi-spray heads, expensive gun models... Only the $4 metal pistol is best cause I break all the rest.
