Slight warning, the owner did mess up pretty big with his last company and everything fell apart. I don't he was trying to scam people or anything, but just poor business sense.

I'd also check out EvoBurst, they've got a few plans that are close. (The NANO64 bundle is pretty good, 5 euros per year for 500GB/m spread across five different data centers; shared IPv4 is probably better for privacy too.)

I avoid EvoBurst like plague because of their refund policy.

From EvoBurst TOS:
Cancellation Refunds
We DO NOT offer any sort of Refund, or Pro-rated Refund for services. All sales are deemed Final upon Payment.

Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or suspend service, at our sole discretion.

That is literally all VPS providers even if they don't say that. If you use their system heavily, you will be suspended without a refund.

Anyway, as I already mentioned, Hassan's last VPS business went completely belly up and nobody got any refunds (which includes all the users following the TOS).

Good VPS providers offer refunds for the first week or two. Considering all sales 'final' upon payment is absurd.

P.S. I wasn't a ReverseHost customer so I don't know the details.

Seems fair to me. There's public benchmarks out already, there's no need to "test" for a week. If you make a reasonable request, it'll probably get done. (Ryan adjusted some of the details on a "final" sale for me because I was nice about it and sort of had a decent reason.)

This is a really good deal. I'm currently paying 15$/year for a 128MB VPS with 500GB bandwidth, on BuyVM. I would switch to this, but I don't go over my 500GB and 128MB is enough for my usage (VPN). Plus, my service has been rock solid, and the support is good, too.

Let's hope Hassan has learned from his past mistakes and this ends up being a good deal for those who need it.

From what I can gather, your experience with evoBurst has been positive though there are horror stories about Ryan on LowEndTalk. Here's one from tvliga:
They (evoBurst) threatening clients_ (not an good idea when u are an company and needs to make an living from it)_

The owner Ryan act like a prick _ (more users on lowendtalk wrote an complain about that Ryan)_

They suspend u when ever they wanne and feel like (No warning will be giving to not even an email saying like "We have closed down you're VPS because the CPU use is to high , can u please look at this and fix this in the next hour , if not that when we will suspend u" (that looks better right)

They send u a email saying its that CPU and get suspend in the same min .
Here's the threatening email Ryan sent to tvliga:

In the end, I'm unwilling to try evoBurst because of their refund policy. Also, I don't think public benchmarks can be an excuse for stupid policies especially for a company that started out in 2013/2014. You may feel differently. To each his own.

I have an account with LunaNode and they have been pretty awesome. Though a little pricey for some use cases.

VPSs really aren't meant to be compile boxes. Anyway, I definitely do appreciate you posting this deal, I didn't mean to sidetrack the conversation.
