[KitchenAid] HOT - $110 KitchenAid Brushed Nickel Ultra Wide Mouth 12-cup Food Processor

I think this is a good one guys, ends on Oct 3rd and I don't think anyone's mentioned it yet.

First, here it is on sale for $199 online:

http://www.sears.ca/product/kitchenaid- ... -KFPM770NK

Then use the $10 online coupon code "Save $10 off $75 or more at Sears.ca with coupon code 941612160"

Now here's the great part: a $75 rebate from KitchenAid for this processor!

http://www.kitchenaid.ca/assets/pdfs/se ... PDF_en.pdf

So I believe after taxes and then considering the rebate you can get this thing for $139.69 + $3 handling fee, for a $400 processor.

Hot?

UPDATE: thanks to majic for the following information, you can get an additional $5 off by using this code instead of the $10 code:

[QUOTE]Promotion or Coupon Code Successfully Added.
$15 OFF $150, WISHBOOK INSERT

Item Number: 941612074 [/QUOTE]

UPDATE #2 Your mileage may vary with trying to get the $15 off as it looks like it applies only to wishbook orders. If in doubt just use the $10 coupon instead.

Also, if you are willing to go for that extra extra mile you can maybe get another $10 off if you sign up to the Sears card.

Stupid question, but I've always wondered this. What's the difference between a food processor and a blender? Which would I rather have? Do I need both?

A blender smashes things into a puree and little more. A food processor can slice, dice and chop, in addition to being able to puree.

You use a blender more for liquids.

The Black & Decker combo food processor with accessory blender jar is on sale at Costco for $63 this week. No MIR required.

Interesting, thanks. I can't say I've had very good experiences with Black and Decker generally, but this KitchenAid model might interest the wife.

Thanks Fred and OP.

I got a kitchenaid 12-cup food processor a few months ago and I love it. There are so many things that you can do with it. I use to do my pie dough by hand, now I can make 3X more pie dough in the same time that is is required to do it once by hand. Hummus, chopping veggies, making bread, making cookies, eggplant dip, salsa, guacamole, etc.

This is a serious deal and if anyone is on the fence I would recommend it.

If you can indeed get the rebate then it is a very good deal! I have had the 12 cup (not wide mouth) KitchenAid food processor for a few years and it has been great, a truly wonderful machine.

I called Sears and they do not know the model # and the product description online is very brief.

So, is this model kfpm770nk ($75 rebate) or kfpw760 ($50 rebate)? I googled and both models are brushed nickle 12 cups wide mouth??

Not sure if this is accurate but on the sears page at the bottom there is a question and answer portion and it says: KFPM770NK http://www.sears.ca/product/kitchenaid- ... QAWidgetID

I bought one of these for my wife on Mother's day, and she loves it--I paid way more than this though!

Contemplating buying one for a gift for one of her friends...

I bought one, but they screwed me on the coupon the $15/off it was applied, but not deducted from the total.
