[Best Buy] HOT!!!Best Buy Summer Deals (Infamous at 29.99!!)

Bestbuy is having a summer of savings event throughout the months of June and July. Here is a picture of the deals and when they occur. Special note of Infamous on June 30 - July 2. So if anyone bought it at futureshop or bestbuy keep your receipts to get your money back, or if you want to buy it now get it at 69.99 now and then price match when it goes down in price.

SOMETHING I JUST NOTICED ON THE FRONT OF THE GUIDE IT SAYS: Guide Valid Fom June 12 - July 23... so hopefully people will see the guide at there local stores by tomorrow, mine just must have put it out early

Wow. Just. Wow. Put me down for inFAMOUS, GH:WT, Resistance: Retribution, & the Kings of Leon CD. Can anyone see any potential pitfalls to buying today and getting price protection on the days of the sale?

I dont see a problem with it. They have to honour it, i believe you have price protection for 30 days, so just make sure you dont buy something more then 30 days in advance

This is true, but the limited time of the deal may give them some leeway to avoid PP, perhaps. Same thing for Boxing Day sales, since they are extremely limited in quantity and duration, they have the option to not price protect BD items bought prior to BD. Hopefully this isn't the case with inFAMOUS and the like.

Price drop of greater than 50% in a month? Was the game that bad? Sony that desperate? Isn't this a huge slap in the face to those who bought the game at release. Hope people saved their receipts.

Looks Like Infamous is going to be sold out in every BB Location in the next 5 hours.....

And the 2 free games with each consoles looks pretty good.

Yeah, I'm wondering about that too. Will this sale be online as well? Otherwise, it's a two day sale as Canada Day falls in between.

Thanks OP, may have to get myself a copy of inFamous, only decision is to order it online, or try and pm at futureshop, as there are no best buy's here in NL.

BTW, i noticed that the page number in 16/17, whats in the rest of that sale flyer?

Thats the thing, if price protection were to work on a deal such as this, people are probably going to buy it now, and get their refund later.
