I love Mary Browns (specifically the tater poutine with fried chicken on top) but there's none near downtown Toronto - the closest one is about an hour away via public transit.
By me, even the KFCs are failing (Taco Bell shutting down, stores looking more and more rundown, rarely any lineups). Popeyes is the clear #1 here at least.
I think the only reason I ever tried it in the first place is because of how much Sid talked about it on Tim & Sid.

i had the bucket for 2 (4 peices of chicken, 2 fries, 2 popcorn chicken, and a gravy) for 10$ at KFC on saturday, i thought, what a deal!
2 thighs, 2 drums, i could almost hold all 4 peices in my hand they were so small.
each bag of fries had around 20 fries
and each bag of popcorn chicken had around 10 popcorn chicken.
I agree with the posts here that Mary Brown's fried chicken is much better than KFC's, in terms of juiciness and flavour. In fact, I have been wondering here about Mary Brown's vs Popeyes. Will it be a close fight?

Popeyes > MB > KFC
Of the two, Popeyes has the superior breading/batter. I also prefer their spicy seasoning over Mary Browns. IMO Church's and Popeyes are on a completely different tier, Mary Browns is a close second, and KFC is a very distant 3rd.
