That's a crazy hot deal. Too bad the deal is gone. I was just looking at this TV in store last night and it was on clearance for $1600.

But one thing I don't quite understand, the op said he went into the store to pick it up, but in his online order receipt, it shows like a "scheduled delivery", why?

What about the shipping charges on online order? If she chose to instore pickup, these charges are reduntant, instore pickup is usually free.

When you buy online with ispu you don't have to pay for shipping and you don't get a notice with the shipping confirmation you get a notice that your order is ready for pick-up

thing is, IINM, for TVs above a certain size (40" or more ?) ISPU isn't allowed...

You're right. You can only do ispu for tvs up to 37". Anything larger needs to be shipped.

Uhhh....just because someone is a girl doesn't mean that she can't go hunting down high end electronics, let alone be interested in electronics. So how in the world can the fact that someone is a girl and hunting down high end electronics be considered "sketchy"?

I managed to get in order in before it was taken down. It's been over 24hrs and it hasn't been canceled.


Do you guys think it will actually go through. I called and inquired and they said they were just allocating the TV for delivery and I will receive an email with a scheduled time for delivery.

They said the Blu Ray player will ship separately and I should receive it Tuesday.

I didn't mention anything about the deal being gone from the site.

I had originally gone to the Future Shop store in Moncton NB yesterday morning and they said they could not honor this deal in store since it was way below their cost and was probably an error.

So I went home and ordered it.

Hope my order goes through.
