[Canada Computers] Hot!!! Westone Adventure Series Alpha IEMs - $89.99

Canada Computers currently has the Westone ADV IEMs on sale this weekend for $89.99. These normally go for ~$150. MSRP is listed at $249.99 on Westone's site.

They are a great rugged pair of headphones (magnesium body, water-resistant) perfect for use at the gym. I bought these for $150 and @ the sale price this is a steal!
They come with a hard case for transport and an abundance of ear tips.

Here's some more info on Westone's site:

Happy Friday RFD!

This is a very good price :)
Won't be getting it since I already have plenty of IEMs at the moment.
But, good find :)

Bought the last one downtown. Thanks OP. From $250 list to $90. I have been looking for good sports headohones, since my Senns get wonky with sweat, and the Bose I'm currently rocking generally suck at sound.

How do these compare to share se215?

I have westone 3 but I want a more rugged pair for running. My SE215 broke after three years and I'm wondering if I should buy another se215 (which I love) or try these adv.

Whoever got them, let me know how they sound and how they are for running.

Headfi review gives it a real bassy sound and not good on the higher end.

I'm forever looking for a good running in-ear bud. My go to buds right now for running are the Soundmagic PL50 but would like something more colorful, these are neutral.

Dude.... Dont run with IEM's.
1.Its idiotic. You need to hear whats going on around you to stay safe
2.Theres no way any IEM's with high fidelity are going to be sweat proofed.

Go to XScargo and get a cheap pair of panasonic/jvc/whatever other sport brand they have, for $10. Then buy these for proper listening.
If you want to get IEM's for treadmill running, look at Miio S6's. They are prob. the best sounding sweat-resistant IEM's that dont cost an insane amount.
