Hotel recommendations for Munich, Vienna, Venice, San Marino, Florence, Lake Como, Zurich. Must have parking.

We're just in the process of planning a European grand tour for our honeymoon and we're looking for hotel recommendations for the following destinations.

Destinations
- Munich, Germany
- Vienna, Austria
- Venice, Italy
- San Marino, Italy
- Florence, Italy
- Lake Como, Italy
- Zurich, Switzerland

Search criteria:
- Parking is a must as we are driving. Underground parking is preferred but will settle for surface parking
- Conveniently located within walking distance to sites, shops, restaurants, etc. We're willing to spend more to be in a convenient location
- Our budget is up to $500 per night

If you've stayed in any of these places I'd love to hear your hotel recommendations.

Well Venice is easy for parking, as you'll have to leave your car at one of the garages (Tronchetto, Piazzale Roma, etc.) for the duration of your stay. Alternatively, stay on the mainland at Mestre and train it in to Venice.

In Vienna we stayed a couple of times at the Hilton Waterfront. It's a good hotel, nice spread at the lounge in the evening, private parking. But it's rather far from the centre and it's not quite a honeymoon type hotel.

In Rome we stayed once at the Intercontinental, which is very central, but it was disappointing. We also stayed at NH Villa Carpegna and at the Sheraton. These last two were quite OK for the money, but again rather far from the centre and not homeymoon material.

For Venice we preferred the Hilton Garden Inn in Mestre, with a bus stop right in front of the hotel and a 10 minute ride to Piazzale Roma.

In Florence we stayed a couple of times at the Hilton, but the quality of food at breakfast and lounge is extremely disappointing.

In Munich we tried a Holiday Inn and it was OK.

In short, we stayed in many of these places, but mostly in business type hotels.
