I've got a custom made 12" bandpass enclosure that was originally from my old Altima (almost 6 years old :cry :)

2 12's in a custom box specifically engineered by a sound engineer to the cabin size.

Beats all pre-made boxes on the market for watt/spl.

I bet you have never seen trunk space of C7 Corvette Coupe in person. There isn't much space behind the 2 seats but when you open the trunk you see a LOT of space.

I bought a JL Audio Stealthbox. It's a custom fit fiberglass enclosure with two 12" W7AE subwoofers for C7 Vette. It fits perfectly and sounds awesome and I can still smoke all the BMW's

It is, but he probably can. The new Z06 is one hell of a car!

I had 2 12's in my old car which I changed to 2 10's (the 10's were better). My new car has stock subs which sound great but do nothing for a bass head like me so I'm considering 2 10's in the future.

Perfect idea to put a sound system designed for a disco club in a car, that's parked 98% of it's life.

I had 1 12" Rockford fosgate sub in a custom ported box however that was to big since I needed to carry equipment around for work.
Now I have 1 10 JL Audio W3 in a custom fiberglass enclosure tucked nicely into the side of my trunk so it takes up very little room now & it sounds very good!

1 15". Big trunk, not a problem. Trunks are always off limits in my vehicles :D

To anyone interested in some low end (a sub) for their music, I suggest you speak to someone (local shop) or do your reading up online before you begin piecing equipment together. The issue here is the box plays such a bigger deal than people will ever imagine. A great box can make even poor speakers sound good. A good box will be tuned for the speaker(s) you are using with the parameters of that sub in mind.
Too many times do people walk into a major retailer, buy something off the shelf, spend hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars only to get a sub-par sound. There are still many audio shops in Ontario that have professionals that can work with any budget you give them. A good 10" can go a long way (there are a number of good 8's out there now too!)

Honestly the w7 is a fine piece of equipment but at retail it is simply too much money for what you get. I've owned the 10, 12 and the 13. Not to mention the install is a complete pain in the behind.
With 2 12's your setup will be plenty loud and clean.

Used to have 2x 18's with 2000 watts back in the day, but I've scaled it down to 3x 12's off of 1200 watts nowadays. There's no need for 145.4db anymore.
