How do you "return to sender" with Loomis express?

I have some packages they delivered that I don't want anymore.

They don't seem to be answering their phones.

I haven't opened the boxes.

I ended up reaching them by phone. They said once the package is delivered it can't be refused.

Same goes for UPS. I tried bringing a package back and they said I had to pay for it.

not 100% sure on loomis as i've only had 2 packages ever come by them in a lifetime of buying stuff and not one that i didn't want. but ups lied for sure this is copied from there website

Yes, however you must wait until after the first delivery attempt to request a Return to Sender.

Return to Sender

If you missed the first delivery attempt, your driver probably left a UPS InfoNotice® indicating a delivery attempt had been made. Using the UPS InfoNotice, you can choose from up to four delivery change options: Will Call, Delivery to Another Address, Reschedule Delivery, or Return to Sender. To begin, select the Tracking link below and enter your UPS InfoNotice number in the Tracking or InfoNotice field, and select the Track button.
If the package was delivered to a neighbor or released without a signature and has not been opened, you have five business days from the day of delivery to request a Return to Sender. After five business days you will need to contact the shipper.

Refuse Delivery

If you are home at the time of the delivery attempt, you can refuse delivery of the package.

don't take it to the store call the 800 number tell them the package was left without signature and u don't want it they will send someone to get it. best thing to do when u dont want something just leave a note on the door with the tracking number and say return to sender drivers will almost always take care of it.

try contacting loomis back and ask for a manger they must have some options for when a package u don't want is left every other shipping company does.
