Electricity/phone costs. I guess the proper thing to due is just dodge her for the day.

Vday was spent at home because I couldn't spend it with my BF this year.

As such, I decided to treat my family instead. Spent about $30 for groceries for dinner at home for 4.

Garlic mashed potatoes, medium rare roast beef, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, strawberry & banana crepes with vanilla ice cream.

we had ALOT of leftovers for lunch the next day. :)

I just cooked. She hated it but the funny thing is she chose the meal, so.. Not much I could do. If only she would listen to me she would have liked her dinner lol.

If she's also a hardcore RFD'er, then she'll demand a make-up dinner plus one day's interest!

I spend $145 all in, at Cafe Du Lac., far but worth it. Coz there's a nice dark park around there where you can have a quickie! But both me & my gf are tired that nite, we decided to postpone that till next time.

Nice view of Toronto Downtown from there though.

For those who stayed home, do you still have to buy a Valentine's Day gift?

We don't do Valentine's Day. In fact, we have a family joke where we call it Half-Price-Chocolate-Day Eve. Mind you, we've been married 20 years...

We did buy some half price-chocolate on the 15th, tho...
We childproofed the house, but they still got in...

Husband had to work so went out on the Sunday. Had my niece over to look after the kids.
$20 babysitting money
$50 for Chinese Buffet (Star Walk)
$10.50 for movie The Reader, used a 2 for 1 coupon and got Scene points.

Been married for 10 years but don't get to go out much without the kids so we get out when we can. :)
